From 1st Presbyterian Church of Second Life

Realizing the challenges faced by organizations that meet and interact primarily in virtual spaces, we desire to be as transparent as possible in all things, but particularly in our stewardship of financial resources. 1PCSL, while not (as of yet) established as a non-profit organization, nevertheless accepts contributions and donations to help cover the cost of our ministry in Second Life. In all our financial procedures and decisions, we are guided by our Presbyterian heritage and polity, by the unique nature (and sometimes limitations) of our virtual world context, and by the advice and oversight of our accountability partners, the Office of Evangelism & Growth of the Presbyterian Church (USA).

Below are some documents that pertain to our finances, and our desire to be transparent:

  1. Financial Procedures
  2. Pledge Drive
  3. Rolling Budget
