We Gather in God's Name

Dear God

We have come here today to pray together and to proclaim

Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!

And even if we stayed silent the stones would cry out.

Please bless us and hear our prayers.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,

for thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever.
