We Gather in God's Name

Opening Prayer

Dear God, We have come here tonight to worship you and to pray We ask that you take the burdens that we carry, Reveal to us the reasons for our pain, Answer the questions that haunt us, Reveal the purposes of our lives. Please help us to let go of the things that hold us back, help us to let go of our illusions and falsehoods. Please restore us to your peace. Amen
