Dear God We give thanks for food but we also need to remember the hungry.

We are grateful for good health and we remember those who are sick.

We thank you for freedom and we pray for those who are still slaves.

Please help us to use our good fortune to serve others.

Amen

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,

for thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever.

Dear God,

We give You thanks for our good fortune.

We thank You for the food that keeps us from hunger,

for good health care which keeps us well,

for homes full of loved ones and good memories.

We ask that we be surrounded with Your loving care.

Please hear our prayers for ourselves and for others

and guide us in service.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ.
