We Gather in God's Name

Leader: And the Word became flesh and lived among us,

People: and we have seen his glory,

Leader: the glory as of a father's only son, full of grace and truth.

People: From his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.

Leader: The law indeed was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

People: No one has ever seen God.

ALL: It is God the only Son, who is close to the Father's heart, who has made him known.

Please stand when offering a prayer, so others will know you have the floor.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

and forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.

Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,

for thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever.
