We Gather in God's Name
Posada Liturgy
Givers: Today we bring before you these figures of Mary and Joseph.
Receivers: As we welcome them into our community this Christmas, may we welcome the Lord Jesus into our hearts and lives.
Givers: Will you take these figures of Mary and Joseph into your community?
Receivers: We will. (the figures are given)
Givers: may they be a symbol to you of taking the Lord Jesus into your hearts.
All: Amen.

Lighting of the Advent Candles
Isaiah 11:6
After the appropriate candles for the week are lit, the people respond:
'Let us walk in the light of the Lord.'

Please stand when offering a prayer, so others will know you have the floor.
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
